Oggetti – Architetture fuori dal tempo. Aldo Rossi e UniFor - Pesaro 2024, Capitale della Cultura italiana
On the occasion of Pesaro 2024, Capitale della Cultura italiana,UniFor supports the exhibition Oggetti – Architetture fuori dal tempo. Aldo Rossi e UniFor taking place from May 24th to July 25th at the Forum Della Chiara Workspace.
Within the Della Chiara showroom, the iconic objects-architectures designed by Aldo Rossi for UniFor and Molteni&C, such as Parigi, Cartesio, Consiglio, and Museo, create a new urban imaginary composed of different architectural scale, dimensions variations, memories and visions.
Evoking the installations conceived by Ron Gilad for the UniFor showrooms at Corso Matteotti in Milan and Rue de Saint Pères in Paris, the Cartesio bookcases, Consiglio tables, Museo chairs, Parigi armchairs, and Carteggio secretaries – designed for Molteni&C in 1987 – along with a scaled-down version of the Elba Cabin and a reinterpretation of the Partisans Monument in Segrate, bring to life a bizarre, disorienting urban landscape.
Accompanying the narrative is the screening of the documentary "Aldo Rossi Design," produced by Muse Factory of Projects and directed by Francesca Molteni and Mattia Colombo.
